Not an expert, by any means, but had problems. Compressor may run continuously or frequently. The system monitors pressure and the compressor will fire when pressure goes below a certain level. I think it is regulated per corner. If you suspect a problem, you can hang out near your trunk for a while and listen for the compressor to kick on. Alternatively, you can eyeball (or measure) to compare gaps between two front (or two rear) tires and fender lip. This may help you determine whether you actually have a problem, but obviously is not a scientific approach.

One thing's for sure, if the valve block or an airbag fails, you will know it because your car will all of a sudden have a slammed look. If you suspect you have suspension issues, I suggest that you identify a tow company now that has experience towing extremely low cars. That way, if it does fail, you'll have someone who can tow it without tearing up the bumpers. If you're covered under warranty, get a Porsche roadside assistance approved tow company.

All in all, it's a bit of a pain when the front goes down.
