2010 Panamera S keeps getting Check Engine Light
DTC p0069 MAP/BARO conflict (3rd time)
New owner, just completed a 2903 mile trip from Miami to Orange, Ca over a 4 day period.
Car purchased from a dealer with 29,000 miles.
Day 1, I got a Tranny Fault light that went away after I stopped / started the engine.
Day 2, got a check engine light after fueling up in Alabama. Local Porsche Dealership cleared the CEL and all was well the remainder of the day.
Day 3, got a tranny fault light after sitting in stop & go traffic (freeway accident). Light reset after stopping the engine for fuel.
Day 4, no problems
About a week later, CEL (MAP/BARO), checked for the DRC code with scanner, reset.
Another week goes by and the CEL (MAP/BARO) comes back on. Reset with scanner
Car runs well 90 % of the time except when the CEL comes on (rough idle / stumble)
Where are the MAP & BARO sensors located? Am I better off just swapping them out or do other issues (02 sensors, coils, air filters) mimic this CEL?
Thanks for any advice
Great car

Congrats on the new car, sorry you're having these issues early on. I would take it to a local dealer for them to sort out. I would then recommend you invest in a Durametric for future troubleshooting.

I agree with Kunle, i've had my 2010 PanaS for a few years and have seen all those issues and funny thing is there were quickly resolved. Things as little as bad plugs can cause the car to misfire and display all kinds of issues that would make you think the car is done.
I also had air suspension issues when it got really cold and the car stayed so low to the ground an indicator came up saying "unsafe to drive" but that quickly corrected itself. Make sure you have an extended warranty on your vehicle and if you dont, Look for an Indy Porsche mechanic to get those issues looked at and fixed. That check engine indicator could mean anything.
Hope this helps.

Great advice from everyone, Thank You.
I have a Platinum Extended Warranty Plan through Fidelity.
Wife is freaking out, but since I am also the owner of a 2005 Mercedes CL 65 AMG, V12, Twin Turbo, 605 HP & 748 lb.ft of Torque, I take these little issues as part of the price of admission.
I will take the car to the local Porsche Dealership (to get these initial issues looked at), but only until I find a good local Porsche Indy to take care of the Panamera.
Love driving the car (when my wife lets me...)
Regards,
Ray
