New owner - Panny V6 w CPO - Qs

Hey all, new to Porsche - love the car and excited to be a part of the community.

I just purchased 2012 V6 Panny with 61,000mi, extra clean Carfax, and about 14 months of CPO left. Had some questions that I hope y'all can help me out with:

1. Are there any kinds of preventative action I can take during my last year of CPO? Any recommendations of how I can get the most out of my CPO?
2. I believe I'll have something around 70-75K miles by the time my CPO expires, does anyone know what the process would be to purchase a new CPO (2 years, up to 100,000mi) from Porsche and what kind of costs to expect?
3. I've also heard people talk about Fidelity and other companies too, what would be the best choice for my situation?
4. What are the most common issues with V6 Pannys at higher mileage? Anything I should look out for? Saw some stuff about bushings, should I get those replaced preemptively?

Any other advice for a new member of the family? Greatly appreciate any and all help!

Verify the cam adjuster bolts are the newer design. Search the threads for info on this. If these bolts break it could destroy the engine. Otherwise, these cars are reliable.

Not aware that the CPO is extendable. Be careful with aftermarket warranties. Some are very good at not covering the items that are likely to fail.

I have been at the end of CPO s before and this is what I did.
1. Yes, you can have them just do a once over check on everything and have any thing that s not right corrected before the CPO runs out. Dealer should gladly help you as it s work for them.
2. Cpo can not be extended but you d have to shop aftermarket warranty. They are not cheap IMO so I traded out soon after that point.
4. If dealer can find something wrong with exsisting bushings etc... they will not just replace preemptively.
5. ENJOY!

Thanks riden - everything I've read about the cam adjuster bolt issue seems to be with 2010 and 2011, though I will def take your advice and see if I can get that checked. Does anyone know of the cam adjuster bolts failing on 12 and newer?

Best price on Fidelity aftermarket warranty would be to check with tdietrich@fd-warranty.com, I bought for my 2012 P4 a 6 year Platinum for $3307. Price varies based on auto's mileage.

wow, that would be super cheap unless a large deductible or lots of exclusions.

Funny you mention that, I saw someone mention tdietrich in a different thread and I contacted him, he said for my car he wouldn't be able to do anything and I'd have to visit the dealer. Maybe it's mileage related...

Anyone else have any advice/feedback on reliability and care?

Thanks all!
