Warrenty for 2010 Panamera 4S

Group,
I'm looking for some advice or help with finding a warranty on my 2010 Panamera 4S with only 40K miles.

I found the best warranty from my local Porsche dealer, Bob Moore in Edmond OK. $3800 - 0 deductible (for repairs made at his dealership; $100 deductible elsewhere) and 7 years 48,000 miles.

I also just purchased a 2010 S model. Got a 7 year 75,000 mile coverage from Delta Auto Protect. $3200 If paid in full. Very good online reviews and my customer service rep was great.

Wondering if you've had to use your Delta Auto Protect policy yet? I'm considering them for my Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Like you the customer service rep was great. Almost seemed too good to be true. 4 years 40,000 miles was cheaper than a single year with Aston Martin direct. I get to take the car to the Aston dealer and use factory OEM parts. All parts and labor covered.

Great

Great experience so far. I have only had 1 warranty issue and that was to replace a air compressor which cost 1200 bucks. I had no issue with the claim getting approved and it took about 2 days for everything to get approved. Great deal for price and being able to sleep at night driving these expensive machines.

Try to see if you can get Zurich Ext Warranty, that's what I have for my 2010 Panny 4$.

They took care of every issue that has occurred with this car since day 1, the warranty paid for its self within the first year or so. I'm covered until 2021.

Here are some of the issues that I have since encountered recently.

Were you able to use Delta at a Porsche dealer? I’m interested but it’s hard to find solid evidence on any after market warranty

My extended warranty has saved me from 9 issues with the car in the last 2 months. Don't buy a used car even CPO without one.

Yes I had the option to go to the dealer however, I decided to go to Indy due to needing non warranty work and wanted to get work done at same time.

I am currently in the process of getting a porsche one on my 2010 4s - 36k miles.
Which I bought recently as third owner.

However I failed the initial 100 something point check on many small points.
1. Drivers electric window switch does not one touch close the window - so need new one.
2. Compressor missing, tyre weld out of date.
3. 19 inch winter wheels missing tyre pressure sensors - have 20 inch that car came with that werent on and have the sensors.
4. Sports exhaust - not working - the solonoids not working as corroded.
5. Many bolts for transmission and exhaust have corroded need replacing.

The car is from the UK and from Scotland originally - I can only put the corrossion down to being in the wet more and salt for snow etc - working away over the 7 or so years its been around.
Its now in Spain which will dry it out in the long run.

No other issues were found which im happy about
However of course not pleased about the cost that will come about now

Ive tried looking up the solonoids for just the exhaust - cant find them - so then looked at replacement sports exhaust (whole thing) and thats coming in at 1600 euros.

So i think it may be an expensive run to get it into warranty

Zurich and Fidelity are absolutely two of the best for German cars
I've had fidelity on various AMG and Porsche cars over the past 10 years
never denied a claim at dealers.

I got Fidelity for my 2014 Carrera S that I just bought. Kicked my Panny to the curb and sold that issue riddled vehicle.

Both I purchased extra for the CPO vehicle purchase. My wife who actually just bought extended warranty Fidelity after her CPO ran out. It's possible as long as CPO car is not past 10 years from build date I believe ( someone can correct me if I am wrong).

She purchased a 6-7 years extended coverage.
