Ramp recommendations?
If you can get a set of truck loading ramps from someone you ll be set. They are very heavy and I just drag them into place. I used them for my Pana oil change. Link shows the ramps when I used them on my 911. Don t know where you may find a set but they can hold anything and they do not move.

I decided to go to a DIY garage instead. $15 to use their lift for oil change and free disposal and tools. Definitely worth it. If you are in the Seattle area check out Stew's Garage in Kirkland.
I bought a set of ramps for $40 from harbor freight tools.

Work great, rated for 13000lbs. Good for oil changes, air filter changes, etc.
For wheel well work, you have to get bottle jacks and adapters that go into the lift points on the car (will help prevent damaging the lift points).

I probably spent way too much but found a good deal on the race ramps HD set. I went all in for two reasons - I can use them for maintenance on my rather heavy 4WD SUV and I like the low ramp but high lift compared to many of the sets I saw. I also like the two piece design, makes for easier storage or transport.
I just did the oil on my Panamera and I could get probably 2/3s of the way back on the car comfortably without any augmented lift.

I use Race Ramps also. tallpaul makes a point to consider, on the Panny you can just get back to bolts holding the undertray on. I use the fabric Gas Monkey creeper and that may be why I can just get back there.

I learned it from a posting in http://www.insanegarage.com/diy-chan...sche-panamera/
"To raise the car I went to Home Depot and bought a 2x12x8 piece of framing lumber which I had cut into 8, 1 foot pieces. I jacked each side and stacked 3 of the wood pieces under each tire. The wood is wide enough such that the tires entire width sits on the wood without any chance of slippage. The raised angle isn’t steep so no chance of roll and with tranny in park and chocks on the rear wheels that car didn’t move 1 millimeter. The almost 6″ rise was enough for me to get under enough to reach everything necessary. "
I found this jacking method is working for oil change. I also cut the 30 Deg on the edge of wood block so I can easily drive in since i have PAN4. The back I use block of 2 stacked wood. I have my son watching while I drive slowly into my wood ramp. LOL ... it worked great for my Cayenne. I may try Vehicle Ramp Set from Harbor Freight next few weeks ... Inexpensive !!!

I got the plastic ramp from harbor freight also, 29$ sales with coupon 25%. Go to home depot get a piece of square 3x3 heavy metal under construction/bracing area you find it. I have this on top of the jack.
unless you use more than 10 times, 10x$100 in 1 year you get your ROI back . LOL ... I see many terrible review from many costco members. Jack with block of wood under the tires .... less space to storage ... LOL ...
I use two low profile floor jacks and a couple hockey pucks then slide the ramps underneath all 4 wheels to get under the car. works great. I recommend the stackable rhino ramps since the harbor freight ramps you cannot stack as easy.
