throttle response slow in normal mode?

On my Panamera I have slow throttle response in normal mode as it feels like i have to give it a little bit more gas just to get it going (when turning from a slow speed/rpm or when accelerating from a stoplight/sign) is this normal?

Also When I put it in sports mode I have to go light on the accelerator when accelerating from a stop otherwise i will get some jerkyness. If I am doing city driving in sports mode with constant low rpm and breaking/accerlating then its a jerky experience.

Is this the same for everyone or do I need to do a fix/upgrade on my vehicle?

Which model to you have? If it's NA, it may just be the drive-by-wire that you're feeling. There are aftermarket products (i.e.. Sprint power booster) that can be installed to address this issue.

If you have a turbo, you may simply be feeling the effects of turbo lag - this was my issue and I flashed my ECU to get it resolved. Now in comfort mode it drives similarly to when Sport mode was engaged stock, and now Sport mode is even more immediate. I think you can find a solution out there to address your concerns. Good luck!

I had a NA 911 prior to my PTT and I experienced the same issue. I installed the Sprint power booster and it absolutely worked and solved the delay issue - throttle response was greatly improved. I had this device installed for 8 years or so and never had a single issue w/ it. Worth checking to see if they make one for the Panny IMO.

I have 2015 S e-hybrid. I also hated throttle response and drove it almost always in sport mode which can be jerky in town. Gearbox software was upgraded twice but no luck.
I had minor accident with car - it was at dealer with power disconnected for two weeks. After that during repair process they wiped all software and then reinstalled it.
After this I haven't used sport mode as car now drives very smooth and responds as it should. It is definitely not placebo.

I forgot one more thing - prior to delivery software was updated at the dealer. At first service the mechanic told me that software update was incomplete first time and that this time he succeded. Apperently not. But now all is ok. Different car to drive.
