Question about service cost
Ironic
I’d just posted how reliable my 2010 Panamera 4s has been (which is true) but I just brought it in for the camshaft controller recall and mentioned that the shocks feel kinda rough (don’t have sir suspension). Turns out a rear spring is broken...and something about the front control arm bushings.
$5k to fix. What??? I love this car and realize it’s expensive...but how did this happen and why does it cost so much to fix?
I’m the only driver of 60k miles and I’m pretty conservative, don’t recall hitting anything. I can’t help but feel I’m being scammed on (it’s a Porsche dealer). Any feedback would be most appreciated!

I'd find a good indie in the area and ask for a 2nd opinion on the suspension work to validate and only have the dealer do the recall work for now. (mine goes in later this week for same recall)
