I have a Panamera 4 base v6 2012.
I installed the x-pipe from Fabspeed and had to remove the 3 resonators, welded quadtips. Looks awesome, the car feels faster.

BUT The car sounds very raspy... it sounds WORSE than my sister's honda civic !

Will a muffler delete fix it ? or the raspy note will be always there (due to resonator delete)

or should I keep the xpipe and install an axle-back exhaust system like this

I have those from top speed on my car and I love it but my gf hates the drone that comes with it

You put the whole exhaust system or just the axle back ? You kept all the resonators ?

I got oem quadtips that are from originally from a 4s thanks to a very nice member of the forum!!!

The one I had was in my garage and iPhone didn’t do it justice, I can work on one for you in the next day or so

And it’s just the axle back, Personally I think it sounds great but I’m sure some guys who have 4K systems may turn their nose at it haha

I must be one of the very few who like my car to smooth and quiet. The only cars anywhere near where I live who have custom exhausts tend to be young guys in their early-mid 20’s driving lowered Honda’s and there aren’t many of them. With a few exceptions. In fact I was driving next to a BMW 335 that had a custom exhaust a few weeks ago whilst in town so there were plenty of starts and stops but not much traffic, this car looked great couldn’t have been more than a few years old but his exhaust was noisy as hell. Every time he stopped and accelerated away he was going for it, I thought it sounded pathetic and there was I driving sliky and smooth alongside him having no problem keeping up. I was playing with him a bit but I felt quite embarrassed for the dude.

Dosnt mean that I don’t want some GTS tailpipes so I at least look the part.

for sure my next one will be a gts !!!

Can I get any borla or magnaflow muffler to replace the oiginal and get a better sound ?
