Panny 970 group on FB
Panny 970 group on FB
Hi All
I just id ask anyone who is inclined to join my little group for the 970 Panny on Facebook.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/921534701391225/
Ive found support for the Panny is quite low on the internet in general - 6Speed actually being one of the best.
The panny group on FB seems to be dormant almost.
It might just be that us Panny owners dont like FB or being active and posting.
But for example my Boxster has about 8 similar groups and all very active.
Lets get some beauty shots of the cars up and going please.
Everyone over looks the Panny I have found and then see it in the flesh and are left impressed !
By far my fav Porsche of my three that I have.
Cayenne and Boxster.

It might be a question of numbers and the type of people who purchase a Panamera, with both working against an active internet presence(sadly)
I will be purchasing a Panamera sometime in the next two years (hopefully sooner) and I like to research the car I'm interested in as much as possible
and I have notice as you have that the panny groups that do exist aren't the most active ( I learned a great deal on the 944 S2 before I bought mine)
Luckily there are a few daring and caring souls out there who are willing to share their knowledge and experiences here with us.

I'd prefer we build up the DIY/enthusiast support here rather than start another portal on FB. That just adds one more place to look for info.
I plan on posting a DIY for the 60K PDK fluid change within the next week or so. Just waiting on replacement plugs for the aluminum fill and drain plugs so I can complete the job.

I agree with HP41. I would rather have a single-source to learn about the Panamera rather than multiple sources throughout the internet.
Some of the sources just duplicate information found in other sources.
I could see the Panamera FB being more informal/social....pictures, impressions, etc..
While 6speed is more technical, DYI and Panamera details/specifics.
Sort of what makes the internet great............there's something for everyone.

Exactly - whatever the group becomes it doesnt have to be defined it can be anything.
So come on over for whatever takes the fancy
