DIY: Panamera Turbo Spark Plug/Coil Replacement
Forgive my total NooBness with this reply. I am purchasing a 2010 4S this week, and after speaking with the local Porsche dealership that serviced the vehicle plugs and coils were never replaced. Car has 67K on the odometer. I want to replace the plugs and coils via DIY. Being new to the Porsche ownership world, where is the best resource to purchase the plugs, coils, and new hardware?
Does one purchase all of these separately, or is there a retailer that sells everything as a "kit"?

Unless you have a problem there is no real reason to replace the coils, The plugs should be replaced. I believe the replacement interval for non-turbo 4S is 40,000mi. (pre-2014).
My CPO 2014 4S had 38K miles on it when I purchased it -- the plugs had not been changed either (they were due at 30K with it being a turbo 3.0). Seems to be an item that owners/dealerships delay.
Buy from a reputable on-line source (stay away from too-good-to-be-true) prices (counterfeit plugs are out there).

I agree with just the plugs. The reason is that for non-turbo they use the old Ni and copper core plugs. No fancy spancy platinum nor iridium. Same OLD change interval because of this.
Oh, and buy replacement bolts that hold down the coil packs. They are one time use...

Thank you!
Thanks for this DIY @ciaka! Just did the plugs and coils at 80,000km. First time it has been done since new. 3.0L V6TT 970.2. Bit different than your V8 Turbo but the driver’s side plug/coil closest the firewall was still a PITA! Replaced all the hardware with new just like the shop manual advises. Old plugs and coils didn’t look too bad but still must have been worn as the car is running so much smoother now.
Next is PDK service (oil + pan/filter + trans mount) and front and rear diff oils! Thankfully you have DIY’s on those too!
