Cat bypass pipes and emissions on tt

Anyone running the bypass pipes on a '10-13 TT and making it through emissions without difficulty? I typically opt for the 200-cell cat pipes, but with the muffling of the turbos themselves, I'm considering the catless pipe and its impact on sound, but also the headaches it could produce. I love the sound of the GTS with PSE and would like to be able to replicate that sound, but it's not going to be possible. Looking for a combination that gets me closer to that rumble, if possible. Adding the x-pipe is also an option, but I understand that the turbo might work better with an h-pipe. Any specific thoughts on that choice? What has everyone tried and who liked what sound?
Thanks!
