Exhaust rumble options
Exhaust rumble options
I have 2010 4s - 4.8l
I have the PSE
Id like to get a better rumble from the exhaust.
I dont want a whole new exhaust..
Ive looked into X-pipe.
But if I understand correctly the xpipe changes the rumble to a more metallic growl.
Is this correct?
Do I have any more options ?
Id be great to see any videos of anything available .....

i'm looking at similar options, just on a different model. youtube is your friend in regards to sound clips and get creative with what you search. i searched 'panamera turbo straight pipes' and got a bunch of videos i hadn't seen yet - some that were not straight pipes used in the video. fabspeed is an option, but i'm currently leaning towards FVD for their h-pipe and possibly their 200-cell option. for sound, it seems like 200-cell cats or cat bypass pipes are the way to go. if you have sport exhaust, you simply need to look at mid-pipe and downpipe options.
Ill have a look at FVD as a starter
as to down pipes thats what i was unsure and wondered if anyone on here had them on a car...
I also have a pre-facelift 4S and I thought this sounded pretty good! I’m also looking to increase the rumble factor of my Panny.
i especially liked how it sounded after they opened the PSE valves. (I have PSE btw)

After reviewing - Fabspeed, AWE, Inotech, Supersprint, Akrapovic, Remus, Topcar(UK Brand) Amytrix, FVD and numerous others.
Ive settled on the Cargraphic as well.
The sound is similar to the others that offer a x-pipe, its German built so its TUV approved and quality workmanship Im sure.
As i live in Spain - its better for me for customs.
Its priced less than Fabspeed and perhaps to my ears at least less raspy sound.
I find the price for a bit of x-pipe excessive in most cases.
I dont have to replace any more of my PSE for now as well.
Which was also the point.
1100 Euros delivered to UK from Germany.
Then brought out to me in Spain from UK by a friend.
Spanish postal and courier service is atrocious !
