Interior LED swap problem

LED lights
I put 4 of the Oznium surface mount LED in the trunk of my A3 and 8 of their Superflux in each foglight grill awhile ago. They worked great and were easy to wire up. Good luck with your project.

Good to know, I ordered the 7.5 inch strips...I hope that is not too bright for the spots I want them in (door pockets and under the dash)...only one way to find out! I’ll post pics once installed. For now I’ll start looking at what else I need to power them up, the strips just come with the two wires on both sides.

Hi thanks for the info. I figured it out how dome light assembly is. I think the metal brackets already bent and stuck up there. I will try to work around it to see if I can remove it.
also if you know how instal LED strip on the doors and main console, I like to do that too.
Thanks

Hi everyone,
finally I could change the LED bulb on the dome light . Basically I had to rip it off down. In my case all 4 brackets bent. I am actually very upset about the whole things. Someone made video and it is the only video on the Youtube regarding the Panamera Led update. I think everyone like me saw that and start breaking down the dome light while to change the bulb on dome lite you don’t even need to take the whole console down. Unfortunately I figured it out after the fact.
To change the bulb on Dome light you just need to remove the cover frame and then the U shave white plastic that is under the first cover. It is that simple. It is literally few minutes job. But my case toke several hours to bring down the whole console and the try repair all the brackets and put them back up.
i hope this help other doing the right way.
cheers

Hi all
i changed all the interior bulbs to LED. And it looks great. I only have one issue though. The rear reading light sometimes don’t work. I don’t know why but sometimes works and sometimes not. Is that just me or it happened to anyone else too. Any solution?
Thanks

I got the led bulbs from Amazon. Did you use the same bulbs too?
i have a feeling there is a pattern when is happening but I haven’t figured it out. When I unlock the doors all lights gets on, but sometimes before I start the engine the two readings lights gets off and won’t turn on again. I have turns the car off and on and lock and unlock the doors then they back to normal. I think it has some compatibility issue.

Yes I used the same bulbs.
If I am not mistaken it happens when I start the ignition with driver door open. Sometimes I do that , I start before I close my door. I am not sure but I will check and post it again.

I checked it. Yes it happens when I start the car with driver door open. I usually do that if I am in my house garage , and I t didn’t happen before with halogen bulbs. But it doesn’t matter I finally figured it out. I have to start with close door.
