Few weeks ago finally got around to doing an interior LED light bulb swap and a full interior detail. Noticed the stock plastic lenses for the front door courtesy lights were essentially crumbling. I guess German made doesn’t always mean better…



Used the PET to try to source new lenses (they are a separate piece) but no part number found. Looks like you need to replace the entire unit. Decided to do this mod instead. Ordered from AliExpress (1st time using). Arrived in 8 days for $15 CDN (including shipping!). Nice quality (dare I say more substantial than the OEM ones I’m replacing). Plug and play and a nice tight fit. I bit cheesy in a cool bling kind of way! 😎

Sure thing @rgfinnegan3. I ordered these off of AliExpress. I’ve never purchased from AE but decided to give it a try. I was always apprehensive about buying “direct from China” but it was super simple, well organized, and safe.

Try this:

1. Download the AliExpress app.

2. Copy and paste this phrase into the search bar:

2Pcs Led Car Door Light Logo Laser Projector For Porsche Cayenne Panamera Boxster Cayman Macan 911 S3 S4 Carrera 4S Accessories

You will then find the ones I ordered. They are being sold by “sihan Store”.

3. Hit “ Buy Now” and then make sure you select the ones for Panamera 2010-2016 (3rd choice).

I found the process very simple and I’ve actually bought a few other things using AliExpress now.

LOL, guess I'm not supposed to get these. It won't ship to my address in Hawaii. Keeps telling me my address can only contain numbers and letters (no -). Also tried PO Box...no can do.
