Very cool, closest I ever came to Vale was at the 2005 Laguna Seca round, he was late for practice, got stuck in the traffic and had to take a scooter in
Figured if I stood still he would be less likely to hit me

gave up riding on the street, we were just getting to fast and saw too many accidents,(lived in San Jose and rode the Santa Cruz mountains a lot) did track days for a number of years, had a RS250 cup bike that was a blast.
Too may hobbies and not enough time/money, sometimes I really miss it.

I hear ya on saving penny's and new GTS. That would be sick.

I'm heading over to tail of the dragon this weekend for Rennsport Dragon Rally so hoping to spend some good time behind the wheel and get some good shots with mountains and changing colors as well.

Haha nice man and thanks guys. Ya we got to meet up for a local event, and it only made me more excited for future events...which happens to be at the end of this month as well, so I'm def looking forward to that.

Flo, it would be awesome if the 3 of us got together for a photo, it would be like gradients of GTS's haha.

Spent some time over in the mountains this weekend with the Rennsport Dragon Rally group. Another fun weekend hustling the RMS Titanic around the twisties and Tail of the Dragon. Around 220 Pcars, 3 days of spirited driving, good time had by all. Looking forward to next year.... maybe in a little something different though

loaded up and heading out

group 1-3

route 129 Tn

raking the leaf

heading home

when the smoke clears after a fun weekend

Thanks for the comments.

Just an update, prior to Rennsport Dragon Rally a few weeks ago along with oil change and maintenance, I went ahead and replaced both lower control arms after reading about the bushing being a common wear issue with 970’s. The bushings did show some sign of fatigue but mainly I wanted peace of mind before heading to the mountains with 220+ other Porsche drivers. Honestly not sure if it made a difference in feel or performance but (in my head) it may have felt a little tighter. Attaching pics of removed LCA’s (69k miles)

Been missing my Panamera fam but I’ll be jumping to the cayenne forum for a bit as I picked up a 14 CPO Cayenne GTS with 40k miles that is basically same specs as my panamera was so I’m in the middle of recreating it for a work vehicle. Currently paint correction, ppf and ceramic coating plus tint and a few boxes full of parts in the garage waiting to begin the transformation.

instill have lower control arms with bad bushings if anyone wants them, just message me . Need to clean out the garage!

heres a pic of cayenne - not the ride the panamera was but not bad either

Welcome to the Cayenne GTS family! I too use mine as a daily and it's given me no issues in my almost 3 years of ownership. Outside of what you mentioned, I'm anxious to see the finish product. Any leaks to what's inside those boxes?

For me, I obviously did my full correction/coating process right away as well as getting the interior dialed in. But outside of that, I added a SOUL catless downpipe (perfect for a daily) and swapped out the lowering links for a little more aggressive stance. Oh and updated the fog lights to HID's which make the world of a difference and threw on the door decals.

Glad to see we both have the same gen Cayenne's now..enjoy, bro!
