Agree 100%, looks very good.

How did you make it without any visible gap? Or it is just not visible from photos ?
I was looking a while ago into the same type spoilers, which seller did you choose for yours ?

LouDA: Thanks, I love it as well.

negb: Not sure what the previous owner did to make it look like Porsche did it in the factory; I'll ask him and get back to you. I'm guessing fiber glass or bondo.

lots of Bondo I would bet, had a nice spoiler on the back on one of my 914, looked very factory - right up until it started rusting underneath it and cause the Bondo to break

Here's what the previous owner said about the tail of my 2011 PTT:

"I had to use 3m panel bond first to get the wing on. Then all the best fiberglass products money can buy to blend it. Took me a solid 6-7 hours."

Now that’s a work of art! Hehe love the empty Corona bottles in the background - no better way to work!

Ordered mine, will Install after I get it car wrapped and the wheels painted. Contemplating colors but think I will go with a satin blue metallic

Does anyone know if there's a 3M/Scotchprint 1080 or other vinyl wrap that matches Carrera white?

I'd love to get a carbon ducktail, but on white that's a lot of black on the back end. I don't normally mind the white and black contrast (I have a carbon ducktail on my white Z06) but with the placement being between the taillights, it's just a bit too much black. If I could get a wrap that matches, I'd wrap the underside so from the rear it was white, while leaving exposed carbon up top. Absolutely love rgfinnegan3 molded ducktail, and if there was exposed carbon on the top side...I'm not sure how much better it could get.

I think that's a great idea! I'll bet a good "wrap shop" knows exactly where to source Carrera White vinyl. I'm thinking... maybe I should get some carbon fiber vinyl for the top side? Hmmm...
