Yesterday I wrapped the ratty looking B pillars on my 2013 Panamera. I ordered a 1"x5" piece of premium gloss-black vinyl wrap from Amazon; cost ten bucks.
I already had a squeegee, a heat gun, and an Olfa cutter knife on hand.
The clear-coat was worn and actually missing in some areas and the surface was rough to the touch. Perhaps the previous owner tried buffing the damage some time in the past.
I block sanded with 800 grit wet/dry and again with 2000 until the clear coat and paint were smooth.
Then I applied the vinyl using several UTube videos as a technique guide. It was easy and only took me about 20 minutes to apply, trim, and tuck the vinyl on both sides of the car.
Now it looks brand new. I don't know how long it will last, but my $10 piece of vinyl still has enough material to do the job again.

This is one of those DIY jobs that even a real hamburger might consider attempting. The material cost is very low as is the risk of damage, so if you can change a faucet washer you should be able to do this simple job. If you make a mistake, it's simple enough to start over because you'll have plenty of material. At worst, you can give up and take it a professional wrap company.

Thanks both of you, I decided to try the eBay way first, guess retirement has made me lazy about DIY stuff...

The eBay solution is a bit expensive, but installation is no more than 10 minutes for all 4 panels and the result is just as good as replacing the side panels.

Found this video that shows a Macan replacement, but Panamera seem more complicated.

Has anyone done this themselves?

I have 2 USA-Drivers-Side brand new Panamera panels, like the pictures taken by MWVH above, for sale $150. PM me if you're interested.

i also bought the panel from ebay for $60. I used as a template for my my 3m 2080 wrapper. I agreed the ebay panel is thicker. I save them for next time. I have another 2016 Pan SHE, the same issue with the side. It is small peeling. i will bring it to dealer since it is still under warranty before end of dec/20.

Those 3m ebay pieces lasted about 3 months, got worse that the original.

My next effort is going to be these I think.

Mine have been on almost 8 months... they are just starting to "bubble" a tiny bit... I pressed them down again with some heat, looks OK but

I'm biting the bullet and replacing them with new OEM parts. The car is garaged so I doubt I will see that kind of degradation the originals suffered.

Where did you find the oem pillars? I have bitten the bullet a few times on this car, I am tired. I am thinking I am going to need to buy replacement headlights soon too.

I googled the part number and came up with a bunch of dealers that have them. The best price I found was Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas... like $86. ea. plus shipping... sometimes you just have to spend a bit to get it right.
