Wait until you get an actual tune versus the piggy back. I have the EVOMS tune in place and had the RaceChip piggyback. No more driving hiccups. It is much better.

Let us know if the hiccups go away, and/or if the hiccups are livable.

hey guys I made a video of my install and initial testing.

As a quick update, the PDK is doing much much better from the reset. The hiccups are very far and few now. I went out for a cruise with a few of my buddies and they told me the car if putting out fire with the loud pops. I'll try to catch it on video for you all.

The results are very similar to my tuned PTTS. Mods are the filter ($200), IPD plenum ($700) and an EVOMS tune($1500). I am going to do the downpipes, next, to open up the exhaust a bit. The change is significant enough that you just feel it and the results back that feeling up. DA during this test was 2200. And, if you look at your result, you will see that your 1 foot roll out 0-60 was 3.1 seconds.

Wow, that FVD tune and Plenum make a nice difference for you to get those numbers with stock cats.

Looking at your MPH, your car is faster than mine for sure especially in a 2200 DA. My runs were in negative DA which improve times greatly.

I reached out to IPD yesterday about that being my next mod before full tune so we can see the difference in numbers it makes individually.

124. This was with a bad 60’ my usual 60’ at the track is low 1.6 even 1.5, my car has been acting up I’m going to try some things out with it like normalfellow suggested and I’m adding trofeo R tire and a GT3 throttle body.

For all you ECU tuned Turbo and Turbo S's...... If you run your car hard, I got a little secret to share with ya.... Switch over to the Beru Ultra Spark plugs P/N: W0133-1852416 (Z277) 14F-5MPUR03... The ignition pulse on these are much better than the stockies.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I will have to add that to the winter projects along with a set of new coil packs.

Michelin 4S, stock sizes. Not the best at the drag track but work well around town. I use 265 35 and 305 30 Porsche spec Michelin 4S on road courses.

I did an EVOMS tune with the OBD2 flash loader. Not sure if they are simply remarketed tunes, or not.

2011-2014 Panamera Turbo S 4.8L DFI Turbo Results:
-Stock Power 550HP/553LB-FT
-EVOMSit Tune 610HP/612LB-FT +60HP / +59LB-FT
-EVT620 EVOMSit Software + High Flow Cats 632HP / 635LB-FT +82HP / 82LB-FT

Mod2fame, theres another thing you can try out too before all this. Hit up RaceChip in Brea, CA and ask if you can get the "updated" tune with the better mapping for the panamera.. Tell them you have been having a lot of the same hiccups everyone is reporting on.... Hit me up whenever you get a chance on PM's.... I got a lot of info for ya.. enjoyed your channel man. -Alex
