Steering wheel adjustment locked?

Not sure what to make of this new development in sorting out a few electric gremlins... I recently have had an issue with the drivers door not locking/unlocking with remote - at first, I thought it might be an actuator issue but it might be sensor and/or old battery... On starting my car this morning, had to use key to manually unlock door (nothing new) but steering column/seat did not adjust as usual (comfort//entry & drive) and steering wheel is locked in the position it reverts to when exiting/entering the vehicle. The steering wheel will adjust in and out, but will not adjust down closer to the seat... I found a reset procedure that should be done if battery is disconnected and will try but does anyone have any knowledge of what might be the problem here?

yes, but steering wheel only telescoped out and not up/down. While driving and turning, somehow only during turn while vehicle is moving and steering wheel off center, I was able to adjust down. Now, problem has disappeared. I think this may have something to do with how radar detector was wired combined with old battery, cold weather and a driver door faulty sensor...
