Hi everyone,

I closed my hood after doing some work on it and now it won't open. The latch in the drivers side footwell feels completely loose. The headlights are out so I can get a scope in there with video but can't see how/where to pry/push something to get it open. Is it electric? Judging by the parts I've seen online they are electric motors for the first latch, then manual for the secondary latch...

Anyone know how to get this open?

 

I'm pretty sure it is a cable and I also remember seeing a post with someone going thru the same issue - can't remember when or if it was here or rennlist

If the cable snapped somewhere in the middle, it may be a more difficult repair.
