Chassis failure
Chassis failure
Hello guys, first time poster I hope everybody is doing well in these unprecedent times.
Since last year I own a Panamera 4s 2012, so far the car was running great until I had a (kind of) flat tire yesterday(front left). Kind of because when I did put some Air to go to the garage the pressure was holding okay.
Long story short when I put some air in the tire and got to the right pressure, I turned on the car and got the red chassis failure message. went to the local porsche dealer and told me that the two could not possibly be related?
got the diagnostic today and they're telling me I need to change the 4 heights sensors that would cost me around 1.8kUSD.. so my question is : is the dealer trynna rip me off by asking me to replace the 4 height sensors knowing that there is just one side (front left) that is lower than the others and the others are holding normal?
thank you for your times guys,
cheers.

TPMS warning due to low pressure is not the same issue as chassis failure so in that regard they are correct, they are unrelated.
I am concerned that they are asking to change all four level sensors. I've read posts here where the member replaced the faulty/damaged one and everything went back to normal.

Either purchase a Porsche specific Durametric code reader and diagnostic tool for $350 or get any OBDII to erase the error codes.
