Today, 8/2/2025, my 2016 PAN4 exhibited the PDK Transmission Fault this morning when I started the car. SAD ... Thank you to Dr.Ciaka for his PDK Shift Rod Sensors work in previous years. I need to buy a Wire Set.

Product ID: 970-317-085-31 $1398 from Sunset Porsche and other PDK. I just had PDK full service last year, in 2024. I need to have my independent tech, MB Master Technician, who did PDK and other work on my Cayenne and Pan. I need to check to see if my guy has PIWIS2 for PDK calibration.

Do I need to replace the Transmission pan/filter after 10K Miles? I had a full PDK service last year. I didn't drive much so far—many Thanks for the feedback.

 

I just talked with my Indy MB Master Tech; he did not have a PIWIS computer and no GO. He is not comfortable doing Shift Rod Sensors and Harness replacement. I am thinking of renting a PIWIS computer from you if I can. Please private message me, and I will get back to you. I want to run Cablibration to see if it can fix the problem. Do you think I need to invest PIWIS2 clone? LOL ... I will keep the car to drive around or sell it ... @ 64 years old, I don't need PORSCH - HEADACHE ... Thanks for the feedback.

 

$6K done @ Porsche ... I want to SAVE $ by DIY. I don't have PIWIS and my skill is limited ... Porsche will do the exact procedure written by Dr.Ciaka.
