ScottDy is infamous around these parts
Non airbag suspension

I have a 2011 4S with 89K miles on it. I was wondering what the life expectancy of the original struts are? I always keep them on the first of the 2 stiffness settings and haven't really noticed much of a difference in the ride over the years, but I don't drive it a lot and mostly on the highway (although they are California highways so...). Normally I would think shocks/struts would be pretty well spent by now. Thoughts?

I would wager a guess that you are most likely at the end of their life. With the exception of the magnet struts, any strut/shock is going to be at that mileage.
