Post Small Repairs / Questions

Hey guys,

I have owned a 2015 panamera gts for a couple of years and these small issues came up. Open to hear your suggestions. Thanks in advance!

1- I got hit by a small stone while driving. Do you think I need to change the windshield or just measure it and wait to see if it gets bigger? At the moment is less that 2 fingers width.

2- It seems there is discoloration by the door openings. Any way that can i paint that or put a sticker?

3- There is an annoying noise coming from the drivers door handle behind the carbon fiber cover. Any idea what could it be?

4- Several times I find black marks on my pants from driving. Is there a liquid or gel that is used to treat the leather steering wheel ?

Thanks again - EP

1. The rock chip can be filled to stop the cracks from propogating but it may be too late for yours. If you have comprehensive coverage the deductible should be minimal - make sure they get the right glass w/ your VIN due to the wide variety of options available on the Panamera.
2. Search is your friend - B pillar peeling issues are common and many approaches to take
3. That is an annoying rattle - the door panel should be removed to isolate and fix the noise, could be as easy as a loose or broken clip
4. Black marks on your pants should mean something on your leather seats, but all leather should be treated w/ a quality cleaner and conditioner. Check the detailing section for product advice and experience from others.

Best of luck resolving these relatively minor issues!

The rattle is most likely one of the Torx screws that's come loose. Same thing happened in mine. 3 minute fix. The black on your pants - coming from the wheel? Get some high quality (Lexol) leather cleaner / conditioner and clean the wheel. Keep cleaning until there's no dirt on the cloth.

@skiracer13
Yes, I ordered some pillar stickers to try them on.
I will try to open the panel and hopefully find a missing screw.
I ordered a high quality leather to clean the wheel. Thanks for the suggestions!

@shrike071
Cool. Is it easy to open the side panel ? I dont want to break anything. Thx

YES it was! I was able to easily remove the door panel and tie the Torx behind the door handle. Thank you
