Hi everyone! I'm a new owner of a 2014 Panamera S with 22K miles. I love the car and it's everything I could imagine and more! I have one irritating sound emitting from the driver's side when I accelerate or brake hard. At first I thought it was my keys rattling on the floor. Upon further investigation, I believe it is coming from inside the door but possibly under the seat. I haven't found anything that shouldn't be there. Does anyone here know of what it could be? It's a very brief sound and doesn't rattle at any other time. Thanks for any feedback....and hello (first time post).
Try to remove inside trim and then drive without it. It will become very clear whether it's from inside the door or inside the trim. If neither, that means it's from in between. A piece of weather stripping in teh right place will take care of it.
I pulled out $1.05 in change from behind the door card in my 2012 Panamera Turbo. Took just under an hour.
i had the exact same problem. Sounded like rattling ended up being change. I have no idea how it got there but was very happy to see once it was out the rattling stopped.
Opening this back up, I hear rattling coming from the area circled in the picture (although it's hard to tell exactly where), it happens when hitting any kind of bump in the road. On the highway it is constant rattling if there are any bumps.

My suggestion would be to see if you can replicate the noise by tapping/smacking the dashboard while not driving...it could be something broken in the vent. Worst case, pull out the vent to check back there.
