Hi guys, I tried searching for threads that show how to hardwire a cig lighter outlet that will always be live/on but couldn't find one. I was able to find some threads on hardwiring radar detectors. However, the radar detector turns off simultaneously when the ignition is turned off. I'm looking for something opposite that. I'd like to find out where to tap in the fusebox for a 12v power that is ALWAYS ON regardless of the ignition status - whether it's on or off. I'd like to give power to my surveillance camera so that it's always on and recording video.

Saw this on YouTube but I can't figure out where to tap my fuse adaptor. I can always turn off the ignition and use a multi tester or a light tester but maybe it's faster and more convenient if someone had knowledge and experience on this already and can point me to the right direction. TIA guys!
