I’m clueless about this key that’s in the ignition and I don’t want to break it by trying to force it out but is this suppose to stay in or can it be taken out?
There is a tool inside the fuse box next to it that you use to release it. It's just a plastic nib that replaces you having to insert the key on cars with keyless drive. Suncoast sell a nicer one with aluminium trim if you fancy that. Or as others have said, keyless go or not, you can take it out and use your key to start the car.
Set the actual key fob outside the car, close the door and try to start it. Try to start it twice and it will spit out your key (not real key in this case)
