We finallized the Poker Run today, so here is all the information about it!!!
It will begin at 2:00PM (Sat.) at the Boca Resort with the first card given out there as you leave. The run should take between 2-3hours and will end at the Resort again. There will be 4 check points between where you will recive a card at each. These combined with the first one given at the hotel will equal 5 cards. When you return to the hotel at the end someone (probably me) will be waiting for you. At this point they will check your "hand" and write down your name and what your poker "hand" is. Once everyone has returned we will go through the list and determine the winner!! You do not have to be the fastest to win, just have the best hand when it is all said and done!!

The directions will be given out "gumball style". This means you will not recieve directions to the check points at the begining, instead you will recieve each at the check point before so you will have to figure out the route quickly when you recieve it (no time to plan ).

I and other FVD employees will be handing out the cards at each location so everyone else can participate!!

PS-A bunch of us will be going indoor Kart racing Friday night anyone that would like to join us is welcome to, it is about 10-15mins from the resort...

 

So long as we get directions to where we are going for each checkpoint since I have no clue on how to get around in Boca. Thanks for the info Evan.

 

Yes you will recieve step by step directions (straight from mapquest) at each location and there will be a phone number on the sheets to call incase you get lost

Thank you for the offer, but I am going to be videotaping the run from the dub. I just made the mount and have been dying to put it to use. I can't wait for this

 

Matt, is that the same mount that I was using at sebring? If so, you're gonna love it! It's funny seeing the dash move up and down over bumps, but if you look at the road, it's completely still. Hard to explain, but you'll see what I mean.

I actually configured this out of lexan and a typical video camera mount. This is for that just in case moment when red & blue lights are coming from behind, I can say I have the mount, but the camera is off. Any ways, I already tested it out around Naples and seens to work good.
