***Royal Flush Rallies: Poker Run Final Update- EVERYONE PLEASE READ***
Final Information Update
Registration- 8:30 A.M- Please be on time!
Departure- 9:15 A.M Sharp
Participation Fee- $30 per car
Rockaway Townsquare Mall (Sears/Macys Parking Lot)
301 Mt. Hope Ave, Suite 1900
Rockaway, NJ 07866
Waivers:
Drivers: Please remember to print the waivers from our website and have them filled out prior to registration. It will make the whole sign-in process much more efficient so we can start at the designated time. I will only have a limited supply of extras so please do not forget.
Passengers: Waivers for co-pilots will be available only at the meet.
Everyone must have a signed waiver in order to participate. If you do not have a waiver you will not be registered for the rally.
Additional Information to know:
*First and foremost- this is not a race it’s a rally. Please respect all laws and posted traffic signs. Be respectful to other drivers on the road. The last thing we need is attention from the local police for a charity event. We are here to have fun and raise money for a good cause. Remember we are not liable for any of your actions.
The route will be just over one hundred miles. There will be five predetermined stops during the course of the rally. The final stop will be Chili’s where we will have lunch and announce the winners of the poker run.
Tolls: The total toll amounts for the rally are $5.55. All toll plazas except ez-pass. Each individual toll location and amount will be listed on your direction sheets.
CAUTION: We will be going over the Tappan Zee Bridge. Construction workers have recently put metal plates down on the road. Use caution going over them, you do not want to hit them at a high rate of speed. The last time we checked it is best to use the absolute left lane going over the bridge.
Gas: Please have a full tank of gas prior to the start. There is an Exxon station near the mall to fill up. Go through three lights (0.5 miles) once you have taken the Mall Exit. It is located on the left at the intersection of Mt. Hope Ave./ Mt. Pleasant Ave.
Walkie- Talkies: If you have one it is highly recommend that you bring it. They come in handy if you make a wrong turn. They also make for fun conversation during the run. We will announce the channel we are using before the rally starts.
The weather is looking good for the rally. In the event that it changes i will have a post not later than Midnight on Saturday postponing the rally till next weekend (November 16th).
