Seattle to San Mateo drive March 8th
Hey guys... driving down to San Mateo for "HIN San Mateo" which is going on March 10th. I have no idea where to stay, so if anyone has a suggestion please chime in. Should be a good time to party that weekend so if anyone is around and wants to come out... please do so! I will be detailing my car that friday and have to put the car in the show later on that afternoon so no time for a fun drive in the area. Maybe sunday we could meet up with some locals??
how close is Sharkwerks to San Mateo??
anyone else bored and want to drive down for the weekend let me know

Sweet. I live in San Mateo, and didn't even know this was coming. I'd stay in the Marriot. It's really close to the expo center, and is probably the nicest place in the city. (http://www.sanmateomarriott.com/) There is also a Crowne Plaza with a small club - which just happens to be the largest in San Mateo.
It takes me around 40 minutes (and $10,000) to drive to Alex's shop. LOL

ya thing are cutting it close! Car is in the shop getting the body work finished up, and waiting for my wheels to show up! The passes look HORRIBLE though.. not really excited about driving through the snow around Shasta
Heh...you guys are crazy. I'm holding off my road tripping til May for the Bimmerfest! Yeah, wrong marque but the drive down (via back roads) is going to be serious fun! Seattle to Santa Barbara, baby!
