I believe that there was some discussion 2 months ago about trying to organize them geographically so everyone wouldn't have to read each post (or click on posts with no location info in the title) to determine whether it was in their region of interest. While I think that would be helpful - I'll say that I don't know what the Page 1 turn-over rate is or what kind of effort would be involved to create Regional Pages for Scheduled Events.

I agree with Estoril. I've always believed that breaking up the scheduled events section into strategic regional forums would be beneficial for sorting and finding exactly the meets/events in your vicinity. It also makes useful threads like regional p-car spotting threads (which I kind of already created one for the SF bay area - as a necessity ) and local FS/WTB threads possible.

That said, if you're looking for a moderator for the existing scheduled events forum or a possible enhanced regional one in the future, I could help out. I've moderated several popular automotive forums in the past and Sharky could vouch for me as well. Right, Alex (if you're reading this)?

Thanks for the consideration.

I nominate DeuputyDog to be the moderator of the Schaduled Event's section, if you guys decide to make it regional.
