Wow you have 2! That's amazing. I really do love the blue. Made me think about dog the same wrap. I'm toying with getting a 718 Boxster and that is the colour I like for it.
I noticed in one photo your blue car has a sunroof but in other photos I can't see it. Did you do a sunroof delete? That's something on my list.
Gorgeous cars Infinite! I really like the blue as well. Maybe I'll get a wrap... :-p
Are you doing anything performance-wise with the white one? Have you posted any details on what you've done anywhere? I'd love to read/see more!
Isys, I did not get a chance to check the PNs on the ducts today - sorry. Will do tomorrow.
Personally Steve there is something about the white GT2rs that I think is special hence why wrapped mine satin white.
I really like the satin white on a 911. Sharkwerks has a couple of cars, amongst others a GT2RS and a 7GT3RS on their site in satin white. I actually called to find out what had been done to the cars. Apparently I wasn't the only one, because I discovered an explanation and product description somewhere on their site a little later. It is a satin, clear protective film (but I couldn't find the link just now).
wow! just finished reading all of this... very impressive plz keep it up! and when ure done plz drive the hack out of it, in the meantime drive the hack out of it too, just drive the hack out of it haha
Thanks Mit. I am enjoying the build - and I will def enjoy playing with the car!
The Range Rover I use for towing/hauling construction materials/going off-road/traveling to (somewhat) remote places is a first gen L322, MY 02. I am somewhat flabbergasted at myself at times, but I have to admit to owning 6 Land Rovers... Some of that has to do with my being a part of GAP-Diagnostic as I mentioned above. The rest is just plain silliness on my part...
The 02 RR is a TD6. It's not a rocket by any means, but it is quick enough to keep me playing with the smaller Audis and BMWs on the autobahn. And the motor is bulletproof - quite in contrast to the BMW V8s that were available in that gen RR stateside. Towing is great. I have a 3500kg hitch and regularly tow 2500kg+ without issues. And the RR is great to drive. It really is my favorite non-Porsche at the moment. I like it better than my late L322 TDV8 as it's more the get-dirty truck than a luxury SUV - at least for me.
If you are considering a RR for towing, I wouldn't hesitate. But look for an 05 or newer with the JLR V8. That motor is quite robust.
