996 Turbo with 350mm Rotors (GT2? 997?)
Got a 996 Turbo with 350 mm one piece rotors upgrade. In looking for a replacement online am i looking for 996 gt2 rotors or 997 rotors?
Are 996 GT2 rotors 350mm? ANd are stock 996 turbo rotors 330mm? Or are both 330mm and thats why I need to look for 997 rotors (one piece). Dont need 2 piece.

996 GT2 come with 350/350mm front/rear. 6GT3 have 350/350 with PCCB, 350/330mm with iron. 6piston front with 4 piston rear calipers, regardless of setup.
6TT run 350/350 with PCCB (6piston/4piston), with iron 330/330mm with 4piston fr/rr.
Offsets are different GT vs TT. If you want to run PCCB discs, you can swap the PCCB ring over GT hats vs TT hats.

Actually, if I do a spreadsheet I may just expand it to cover all sorts of common part numbers folks are always asking fo just so I don't go insane searching in the future. If I did it in Google docs it would be public if there's enough interest...
I swear I'm this >< close to building a spreadsheet to track this! Good info! 997tt run 350mm all around and can be used with a caliper spacer, yes? Which run 380mm? Brakes are a possible upgrade on my list as are John's brake cooling suggestions

996 Turbo with 350mm Rotors (GT2? 997?)
I have 350mm 997T rotors front and rear only thing that is required to make them fit are the spacers fot the stock 996T calipers which were readily available try 050 motorsport over your side of the ocean they used to make a set for 150 bucks which include caliper bolts.
The 350mm rotors are a great upgrade and IMO should be done when replacing the stock rotors.
Cheers

Yup, I'll go 350 for sure when these rotors are done.
380mm might be even better but swapping calipers is even more work and I might run into wheel interference with my OEM styled 18s. Which calipers go with the 380mm and does that require a new master? 380 is huge lol! No adverse effects from ABS or PSM?
Thread with part numbers from John. Spreadsheet I tell ya'! Looks like calipers might be pricey, I'll research but need to spend more money like a hole in the head. Still curious about ABS and PSM but suspect it's fine.

Edit: Looking like that link is a poor example. Moving to 350m there doesn't seem to be need to swap calipers, just space the caliper mounts correctly! I have indeed started a damn spreadsheet!

stock 996tt brakes with good pads and fluid are plenty for 95%+ guys here...if you roadcourse hard/properly then the 350mm, and MAYBE 380mm are a suggestion.
380mm require particular wheels, adapters/calipers. Pwdrhound/John has outlined the adaption of late 997 380mm..
