Question for anyone running ALLEGGERITA HLT wheels

Does anyone know if the O.Z. ALLEGGERITA HLT wheels match the Porsche hub bore size or is a hub ring needed? Also, do they use the ball seat bolts or cone style? I can't seem to find that info.

There is someone local selling a set for a very good price in GT2 sizes. These are definitely not my dream wheels, but it would be nice to have an extra set of wheels to swap out occasionally.

i run them in that size. no hub ring shenanigans or any other than oem lugs needed. that's a "forgestar" abomination ( which i have also had ).

agree. not "dream" wheels, just great cheap light wheels that if you smash one can be easily replaced and seem well made.. for the money.

Pics?

Also seems like there is a very limited selection on 315/30 tire. Really sucks cause this would have been my cheap, on the street setup.

Skip the 8.5s. I would get the fronts in 18x9 et43 along with the 18x12 et45 rear. The 18x9 is a Boxster rear and gives you the the option to run 235-255. Tire rack has both. The 9 will square up the sidewall a little better on a 245 and stretch it slightly on a 235 resulting in a stiffer sidewall = less flex = sharper steering response. You always want to run the widest wheel for a given tire size. On the 12s you can run 305-335. This gives you more options for tires so you can get the proper diameters for AWD if you have it.

i hear ya, tire choices 315/30 suck! but this is my choice on sizes etc since i never leave the cheap streets ( or seats ). here's a pic w the oz..

rule #1 is one can safely listen to pwdrhound. that said...

i ran the 9" in front but as i am always rounding tight corners at 25-40mph so i decided to go back to the 8.5 to minimize "plowing" though i was mostly awd with that setup ( now rwd ). though i have no doubt the 9 is better for tracking or even hi-way ( hi speed ) driving, ( and i can't say with absolute *certainty* that i could really feel the .5 difference btw the two sizes in the places and conditions in which i drive? ) so perhaps it's the placebo effect! but i do believe i have a slightly quicker turn-in losing that add'l .5 inch of the 9" by going back to the 8.5".

but i run the p zero since the michi's have been o/s'd to death and also increased in price to approx 550 a copy just not worth ( to me or my 4k mile per tire usage! ) the addt'l michelin flavor for the extra 200 bucks.

but rule #2. again..see rule #1! he's never "steered" anyone wrong.

Here is mine. i do use 8x18 and 11x18, stock size. My car is still awd and its not legal here to use a tire which isnt tested for topspeeds of 315+ km/h, this speed u can drive here any day.
So i stick to stock.

They do look even better with 350 rotors, which i got in the rear and front...not on that picture.
They are freaking light, so you can actually feel, that the car gets more light-footed.

If I buy them, then they would be temporary be replacing my Champion wheels, the 19" ones are about 20lbs. My winter wheels are not so light so I completely understand how big of a different lighter wheels makes.

I found the ad and bought them, j/k. That is a great deal and they look to be in great condition. I'd be all over that. Actually I'm not sure that's the ad...the fronts are 18x8.5

I really like the gold color...would look great on black.

Have the seller put in writing that the wheels are straight, true, and not repaired. When you get them take them to a tire shop and have them spun up to verify. You gotta be careful, lots of pigs with lipstick out there as these wheels have a history of bending easily. Couple of members here like Rob have had to deal with it.

Thanks pwdrhound for the additional help/advice. Like I mentioned earlier, I already have a nice set of Champion wheels but really want a gt2 size set to run once in a while. Will let you guys know if I end up getting them.
