today the focus was on the ECU.
I've remove the steel tray holding the ECU. disconnected the plugs and stripped the wrap on the harness.
identified the wires by color according to the Aquamist supplied diagram.
it went smooth.
I used posi taps and added a little thicker gauge wire to connect the taps to the Aquamist insanely thin wires.
what I did since last update:
1. Made quick disconnect plugs for methanol tank pump and leds
2. Installed the Aquamist gauge
3. Cleaned up the wiring routes and zipped tied them in the interior for the Aquamist system
4. Installed back the front trunk pieces and interior pieces minus the B/C pillars panels....
next:
1. Getting the front trunk mat backfrom the shop... I had it carpeted black for more toward oem look
2. Receive the PDK TCU back from ESMOTOR after it's tuned and install it back
3. Turn on the car for testing
4. Put back the rear bumper and taillights
5. Fill and bleed the Aquamist system
6. Take the car out for logging and testing
7. Get updated tune from Emre
8. Race it next weekend.
