Why buy a GT3 without the wing?
I love my wing

That's Porsche way of getting you into a 911R without spending $500k.

It's about time they made a GT3 car that mortals can buy.

The touring package is priced the same as normal GT3. I'll be mad if I paid top dollar for 911R. Who is going to buy a 911R at 1.3mm?

I read that Porsche said they will make one of these for every customer who wants one . Does this mean GT3's aren't "limited" anymore? Can anyone confirm this?

Were non-RS GT3s ever truly limited beyond their demand?

You have to get a GT3 allocation to get a touring model; they will remain very limited.

I love it. Love the looks of the "clean" 911 with the GT3 internals!

I don't understand why they're only optioning these with a manual. I would rather have PDK.

I would hate to be a 911R owner.
The gt3 is perfect the way it is with a wing and pdk-S . Exactly like a modern race.

Understated is appealing to some but aren't these cars supposed to bring out your inner child..

Can't stand it and don't get it. The GT3 is a track based car. I get most don t track theirs but don t you need aero and lots of it for the track? Not for me.

Having lived in Germany and driven at sustained speeds most Americans can only dream of, I totally see the point of the GT3 touring. In America, all that aero is a complete waste. German senior citizens drive faster on the autobahns than Americans do on tracks. Sad, but true. Plus, all the aero on GT3 just draws unwanted attention. Why not have all the fun of a normal GT3 while flying well under the radar?
