I did not check OEM price, but if it's only 20%, I say no. I for one, can go to my local dealership and ask for 15% off any day. Plus, getting in from the dealership builds relationship, and support local business, and you get warranty for a year vs. SOOL if the one you get from Ali breaks in a week. I will pay that 5% extra without thinking twice.

I paid this price at the local shop of OEM German brands cars spare parts, but it doesn't mean that the same price would be at your local dealership
And the price from aliexpress link is 85,5 euros delivered to my local post office, but import tax and VAT 'question' is not calculated and might be applicable depending what 'agreement' would be achieved with seller, if you know what I mean

Then start to push up on the window switch. It has 4 metal clips, not sure an exact strategy here, I just sort of worked it back and forth on each side and it came loose that way.
Thanks for this tip! Will try to do mine tonight!

Anyone need a non side assist control in great condition? I am putting in the correct one on mine.

Right side of the pic is what I'll be posting for sale. All the chrome tips are intact.

Any knows whether this window switch can come off from outside for replacement or do i need to open door panel in that case would have to take back to Porsche

For those who need to replace theirs the door panel does not need to come off. If you look at the new replacement switch where the spring-loaded clips are on the side you can use a trim removal set and push the tabs in and remove it from the top. Just be careful with the leather.

Yes, the best way (and safest for the leather) to replace this switch is through speaker grill. Just in my case speaker (maybe there are some differences between Burmester and Bose) didn't come off, was no need for that, enough space to reach switch with hand through inside and push it out. This job took me not more then 10min doing slowly and carefully.

I didn't go this way because it looked to me too risky of damaging leather around switch.

that's a good cheap solution with these "switch Button Cap Cover".
when I'll come back home I'll try to remove one button cap cover from old switch
just to see 'how its made' ))
but even you brake those good remaining cap covers is not a problem as you have all 4 new.

The Switch Button Cap Covers arrived yesterday, I 30 second fix. Amazing how cheaply made some of these parts are make on a $116,000.00 CTT. I suppose these are shared with VW's and Audi's too.

If you want a new one from the dealer its a 150 bones.

They look good from the pics and this $20 solution is so appealing that I ordered a set for my car - are you happy with them and was it that easy to replace them? Thanks in advance.

Yes, I just purchased the Cayenne in July. I didn't notice there was and issue until I almost cut my finger tip closing the window.
The color is off slightly but may be an age thing plus the old buttons are covered in oils from skin and detailing.

I highly recommend it, the dealer or Ebay options seem time consuming to remove the entire assembly.

These are made of the same cheap plastic like the OEM. So I may order another set as a spare.
