Just to conclude the issues + resolutions....

The fog light issue was polarity, this was resolved by simply swapping the wires.

I have ordered with expedited shipping a LED-specific hazard relay (PN CF13GL-02) which will be an easy PNP solution to resolve the "hyperflashing" of the LED turn signal bulbs.

Rich will have his headlights fully functional before his car show this weekend.

GT3 RSR lenses are for GT3 RSR race cars. They are quick mounted & changed with a single screw. Hence the drilled hole from the factory.

No biggie- its small & easily covered & sealed with 8 ML Lamin-x headlight film.

That's going on ASAP to also protect the crystal clear lexan lenses.

Sorry to take so long, but here's the wall out put picture you asked for. This is a 997.1 turbo with 997.2 headlights. Hope it helps:

Just saw these.
Porsche 911 996.2 (2002-2005) - xenon headlights (retrofitlab.com)

Anyone have any experience with them ? looks like a very simple retrofit.

. Does the clear front lens have to come off using the easy bake oven procedure for this retrofit?

Not per the video on the page. Did you ever get the "new lens" kit offered for the 996.2 lights?

But why would someone replace a xenon HID with an aftermarket one?
