I am trying to get all my info in order and over the winter start looking for my first Porsche. I have been on the forum forever and lived vicariously through you guys! It is time to soon enough pick up my dream car.
I have decided on a used 991.1 Turbo... Not Turbo S.. I don't need the carbon brakes and I really like the look of the red brake pads as opposed to the yellow anyway.
The only things I know I want for sure is the following options - Launch control (so I am assuming I have to make sure it has the sport plus option)?
Sports Chrono package
PDCC
Heated seats/GPS
I plan to keep the car long term and do Sams stage 3 package and eventually do his stage 4 as well.
My question is, I thought sports chrono came with launch control but I am seeing some cars have the sports chrono clock but not the sport plus button. I guess I have to make sure the car has the clock and that sports plus button and that will ensure the car has launch control? Sorry for the noobish questions. Once I find the right car with all the must have options for myself I will have a PPI done and then go from there. Thanks everyone for all your help and fun through the years.

Ok I think I answered some of my own questions doing research on Porsche's website and cargurus.com.
I'm guessing that the sports Chrono package is now standard on all 911 turbos for the 991.2 and it was an option for the 991.1.
Therefore I'm thinking if I find the car with sports Chrono package that also should have the Sport Plus button and that gives me launch control. Maybe you guys can just confirm if that's true.
My only other question that I can't seem to figure out is the button that is the pdcc ... I have attached a picture. The cars i'm finding that do not seem to have that option still have that button with that picture of what looks like I'm guessing a shock??
If the car does not have pdcc then what does that button do? Also how much of a must have option would you guys say PDCC is? I know t
he sports Chrono seems to be the real must have option from the research I've done so far.
The button changes the suspension between comfort and stiff/racing. If the car has PDCC it will say it there. But don't confuse the button with PDCC. PDCC is always on when the car has it. If it doesn't say PDCC on the button the car doesn't have it. It came standard on the S but not on the Turbo.
The button with the shock is PASM on/off (Porsche Active suspension Management) 10mm lower ride hight or SPASM the Sport version which is 20mm lower. The ride hight is not adjustable through the switch by the way. It is an electronic continuous damping adjustment that will adapt to Sport Chrono settings (normal, sport, sport plus).
