Simple and easy question, though likely not a simple and easy answer...

I'd like to have the most basic addition to my Cayenne - a AUX port to play music. Nothing more, nothing less. Where to begin?

I just ordered from Amazon - LAPower A2DP Bluetooth kit

For $148 I figured it's a start as many other kits were much more expensive (Dension 3 times more...). Any thoughts? I will post this project...

Where to begin? (Have 6 disc CD changer, amplifier).

 

After researching different AUX/Bluetooth options, I got the unit working... Pretty simple!
Here is the wiring setup... As the diagram with the unit was very unclear.

Works with Bluetooth and AUX. The other downside is that when an AUX cable is attached your bluetooth doesn't work. In order to use the Bluetooth, you must disconbnect the AUX cable from unit. Not the worst. Aftr holding down buttons '1-4-8' on the key pad to reset the PCM, everything worked perfect.

PCM connections:
(L) Light out (routes to the (L) AUX unit)
(R) Light in (remains attached to clip)

AUX connections:
(L) connects to PCM (L) Light out
(R) connects to the removed (L) Light out cable

Constant 12v power @ PCM:
(+) Red w/ yellow stripe
(-) Brown wire
