Exhaust Tip Dilemma

I'm in a dilemma. And i'm trying to figure something out before either buying another exhaust and/or modifying the one i have now.

I have the AWE Exhaust with Polished Dual Tips.

Fitment was perfect....until the A28's went on.

After they went on...i guess because the hot sides of the turbos are thicker than stock...it pushed the tips out beyond the bumper to the point where it's too far and i don't like the way it looks.

I pulled the tip off yesterday and this is what i'm left with. The pipe is 2.5" OD and centered pretty nicely in the opening. The issue is that the max length the tip can be is about 3.5" in length from the point where the bend starts on the pipe behind the bumper.

Looking for suggestions.

Current situation.

I thought about purchasing a pair of these. They are 2.5"ID out to 3". I was going to cut off the slant and clean it up and strap it on and see how it looked. But it'll still only leave me with a single centered 3" tip....whereas the dual tips coming off the car are twin 3.5" tips.

Not sure...but for $50 i figure it's worth a try.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

993man is infamous around these parts
I have nothing sorry.
But I did start my car after fitting a new Tubi to check the sound without the tips, and melted the surround a bit lol. Lesson learned.

the way I see it, you either try with the centered 3" or you get a local fabricator to redo that bend pipe to accomodate the original twin 3.5" tips.

If it were me I would probably get the pipe redone and do the slant like the GT2 exhausts. Something like this:

I think the centered 3" might look too small in the bumper opening.

There are tons of generic 2.5" inlet to 3" or 3.5" tips on ebay! Nice "titanium looking" ones too! A clamp on type of tip would be nice since you can adjust it.

To be honest I would have the tips stick out a bit past the bumper to help keep the bumper clean!

You have upgraded turbos with only a 2.5" exhaust?
