1999 BMW e36 M3 LS1 swapped

Year: 1999
Make: BMW
Model: M3
Price: $1
Mileage: 92000
Color: silver
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NJ
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

This is not your slapped together, just-get-it running build. I took my time to build this right. I have a ton of pictures of all of the progress that I would be happy to share with the prospective next owner. Even if you are not interested in purchasing and just want to come check the car out, by all means let me know. I'm very proud of this car and how it turned out.

$Meh, decided to keep it, its just too much fun!
No test drives, serious inquiries only.

1999 BMW M3
Artic Silver
~93k miles
Sunroof
Manual Vaders, no rips or tears
Autoclimate
Owned since 2010
One of the very last e36M3s ever made. They stopped building these in April of '99. Many parts have dates stickers on them, including the headliner which was installed April 28, 1999.

Engine:
1998 LS1
LS6 Intake Manifold
Ported Throttle Body
LS6 Valley cover
Modified factory steam vent
Factory truck oil cooler manifold to Mishimoto 9 row cooler in kidney grills.
MSD ignition wires
NGK plugs
New LS1 timing chain kit
New rear main seal
New gaskets throughout entire engine.
Improved Racing Oil Pan Baffle
Improved Racing Crank Scrapper
Modified CXRacing engine mounts
Modified CXRacing transmission mount
CXRacing headers, professionally ceramic coated.
Full stainless 3 inch exhaust, all v-banded
Magnaflow 3 inch CAT
Magnaflow 12198 muffler
LS2 “truck” MAF, 85mm Delphi
Corvette fuel filter/pressure regulator
Wiring Specialties harness
K&N filter
Dyno tuned with HPTuners – 360whp/358wtq

Drivetrain:
2001 WS6 T-56 (55k miles)
New factory LS7 Flywheel, Clutch and Pressure plate.
ARP Flywheel bolts
New factory throwout bearing with remote bleeder setup & custom lines with quick disconnect for easy removal from the car.
New ACDelco Pilot bearing
MGW Shifter with factory BMW 6-speed ///M shift ****.
Modified reverse lockout spring
New factory trans mount bushing
Custom driveshaft professionally made and mated to JTR 1310 U-joint differential flange.
Fully rebuilt 3.91 LSD – new clutches, new bushings, upgraded M14 10.9 grade differential bolt.

Lokar throttle cable setup
New Turn One power steering pump (won’t overheat like the factory unit).
AN power steering lines
AN Fuel line – Fire sleeve protected
AN Oil cooler lines
AEM Wideband O2 sensor
Custom 3d printed gauge panel
Schroth 4 point clip-in harness, passenger and driver.
Autometer Oil and Water temp guages - wired in but not connected.

Chassis:
Dinan front strut bar
Modified lower X-brace
BC Racing Coilovers & Camber Plates
BC 550# front springs
H&R 650# rear springs

Because this is a '99, it has factory subframe reinforcements.

Cooling:
Koyorad all aluminum oversized rad.
16” Spal puller fan
Custom shroud
Custom front duct.
Custom coolant lines to auto climate heater control and remote reservoir.

Wheels:
Enkei RPF1s - 18"
Hankook Ventus V12 245/35r18s all around

Brakes:
PFC 06 brake pads
Motul 600* fluid
SS brake lines front and rear

Other:
This was a salvage titled car from an accident back in the early 2000s. The car was hit in the left rear and completely and professionally repaired by BMW themselves. The chassis is perfectly straight, aligns perfect and has always driven like it should.
The clearcoat is beginning to flake at a few seams under the windows/top of doors.
Tiny bit of rust bubbling just started in 2" section above the windshield (pictured).
No AC. I didn’t do the retrofit for AC with the swap. The condenser and lines will be included with the sale if wanted.
Suede wrapped headliner.

Extras not included in the sale price:
Set of original staggered DS2s.
Set of TRMotorsports MT1-R Enkei competition lightweight wheels with mounted BFG slicks.

I believe you are a bit high.. looks like this would bring 10-12k based on all past sales I have seen. May get lucky and get closer to 15, but I have only seen cleaner ones go for that. glws

^Thanks man! My wife has been pushing me to keep this car. She loves the way it sounds over everything else we have and watched me build it, so I think she has even more of an attachment to the car than I do haha
