2002 Protomotive Built 996 GT2 6,000 miles 700+HP

This car is one of the finest all around street cars we have ever offered for sale. The car started life as a mint Silver on Black 2002 Porsche 996 GT2. It was then sent to Protomotive in Arkansas for a complete upgrade package with no expense spared, resulting in one of the most powerful GT2s in the country.
The exterior has been dressed up with carbon fiber as well using original Porsche OE Parts. These quality carbon fiber upgrades include the front grille, mirrors and wing blade. The car was Corner Balanced and Aligned and currently rides on 18” HRE C21 Competition Wheels with BF Goodrich Drag Radials aiding to put the power to the ground and giving the car a great stance. The car was delivered with Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes from the factory, so it has more than sufficient braking for the extra horsepower.
The black leather interior has received its fare share of upgrades as well and carbon fiber throughout including the console, shifter and ebrake. Finishing out the interior is a set of Original Euro GT3 seats in Black leather with the embossed crest in the headrest. The center console has a custom housing that allows for easy viewing of both the Air Fuel Ratio and Boost using an AEM Tru Boost Gauge and AEM Wideband Gauge.
The performance of this car speaks for itself. Using VP103 fuel the car makes 715rwhp/698rwtq and just over 550 on standard 93 Octane. Using a Performance Box to measure results, the car ran GPS verified 5.93 in the coveted 60-130. All tuning was done using the factory Porsche DME so the car can still be driven on the street very comfortably and performs as a stock vehicle would (with a couple hundred extra horsepower of course). All factory systems remain in place and boost can be adjusted using the AEM Boost controller to allow for variances in fuel.
The car is currently located in Cleveland, Ohio, however shipping can be arranged anywhere in the US or internationally using one of our trusted shipping carriers.

2002.
I bought this car stock from John Nevis here on this board in 2006 (original owner and great guy) and oversaw all the modifications. Todd did an incredible job with this car and it runs absolutely flawlessly as one of the first 3076 turbo cars built. I posted a video last year walking a sprayed Z06 (who trapped 140+ a couple times) on the highway from a 40 roll. It also surprised a few high hp Supras back at TX2K07. I took it to the strip once launching at 2k and with typical street shifts, ran an 11.1 at 138 (2.2 60). It's never seen a road course and looks showroom new inside and out. I would bet there is not a nicer condition GT2 available anywhere.
Please also feel free to contact me with any questions. I would like to see this car go to a good home and to someone who can truly appreciate the time and effort put into building it. It is a one of a kind build. Wes and Nero are great guys to work with, so you are buying from a trusted source.
Damn, I miss that car....and came really close to buying it back late last year, but already had too much money tied up in other car projects. I should have never sold it....

The car is a 2002, I made a typo on the title and the edit button wouldn't allow me to correct it, I have contracted a moderator to make the change (Luis help LOL).
If you have any questions about the car please do not hesitate to call or email.
