996 GT3 + cash for your 996 GT2 or 997 GT3
Hey guys,
Wondering anyone has any interest. Car is 2004 GT3.
-CPO'ed till 2010, 100k miles, whichever comes first.
-All the basic upgrade for DEs such as seats with BK lowering side mounts, tequipment cage and toe-links installed.
-OEM RS wing, OEM RS nose, OEM Cup car lip.
-New battery.
-Entire coolant system on the car has new hoses (fresh rubber).
-Car has PCCBs equipped. But, I took them off at 27k miles for performance friction direct drive rotors and 997 Cup car rear rotors (350mm). It'll come with both sets of brakes.
-Brakes also has stainless steel lines. Pads are PFC 97s front and 01 rear. Pagids for stock PCCBs. Brake fluid currently is, of course, Castrol SRF, the best!
-30k miles service done with recent diff fluid change since that wasn't included in 30k service.
-Clear title and clean carfax.
-Comes with full history of all the services, alignments done, modifications and trackdays. If you add up, you'll see it's close to $30k since I owned it. -Nothing is spared to keep the car in top notch running order and shape. I am a PCA member and most people on Rennlist knows me. You can search over there too.
-Only negative thing about the car is that it currently has 48,xxx miles. Because I love it so much that I drive it to local tracks/weekends/some week days. Also, front nose and the passenger side fender has been repainted due to the minor contact with the guard rail. Nothing major, just cosmetic. Here are the pictures. http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...ml#post4406779 That was how I ended up with OEM RS front bumper.
Here is what it currently looks like. Yellow tints can be remove easily. They are there to protect the headlights at the track.

Black rims are my track rims. It can be include in the sale if the new owner also wishes to take it to the track. As I mentioned, brakes are Performance Friction Direct Drive 2 floating rotors. Cheaper to replace than PCCBs and better feedback.

If you're interested, PM me with spec and history of your car with offer price. Let me know if you need more pictures.
Cheers,
Ken

I'm just putting this out here to see some interests. Feel no pressure.
And, thanks for the bumps fellas. You guys are great!
I hope that someone (with 7GT3 or 6GT2) who wants to track or have fun something cheaper and manageable can trade his/hers in for mine. This car is built for the drivers who love to drive. There's nothing more to it so I don't save the miles for the next owner. Put nearly 20k miles last year.
Because I'm addicted to driving the car a lot, I found all the little bugs and everything is fixed. Here's one example,
All 3 issues are not uncommon on 6GT3s if you search on RL. Everything is taken care of by the dealer.
Since one gentleman PM me how the car is set up for new Porsche driver, I'd just like to say that it is set up to be able to drive without much effort. I have the proper alignment done and car is not hard to drive on or off the track. Don't let no traction control/stability control thing scare you. This car is very predictable and listen to the driver very well. It do things exactly you asked for it. I've driven it in a wet or dry, cold or hot. No problem! You'll be amazed how direct the whole experience is!
Few more old pics.
