After uploading to flicker, how do I get them to show up on 6speed? I know I have to add certain wording to the copied link before and after? what is it?

PS there should be a sticky on a guide to posting pics.

 

Take the direct link from your Flickr account - each individual photo's link and put it between these brackets:

[IMG] Your photos link would go in here [/IMG]

Or once you get the direct link to your photos hit that little yellow box on the reply to thread box. and it automatically makes the IMG tags for you.

You will know if you have done it correctly because it should automatically show your photo in the message that you are doing.

Now to make it an image to post on the forums you put in the IMG tags.

Example. [IMG] http://chrisgrosserphotography.com/gallery/381.jpg [/IMG]

Now, don't leave any spaces between the IMG tags and your designated link.

The result:

I forgot Photobucket already gives you the "IMG" tags right underneath your photos.

All you have to do is copy and paste the link they give you.




This thread would be way better if you had naked girls in your Photobucket account.

Those are my pictures. I figured it would be a safe bet to use my photos so I don't have to worry about upsetting anyone.

But anyway, thanks for the compliments! I'm glad you enjoyed the photos.

It may actually just be that the school servers block off certain images from being seen. Keep us updated when you get home later. And for the record, I wish I went to a college where I had the free time to view 6speed online for fun! Last time I was at a computer at my college last week all I was able to read up on was the bacterium Xanthomonas axonopodis. Definitely no 6speed!

Just got home, I can see the pics!! Thanks for all your help chris, now everybody else has a tutorial available. I'm in my last year law school, taking an elective and it was a long day, so I wasn't into it today.

 

i still can't get this to work when i drag the img link to the the upload url box on 6speed & click upload it always comes back as invalid file, help please anyone
