I think it would be really beneficial to add a new forum for the 09+ 997s (997.2). It can get very confusing when you're reading threads on the cars because they have a different computer, motor, aftermarket parts are completely different, etc. Let me know your thoughts.... For the record I love all 911s no matter what year or model!!

Bad idea, there isn't a 996.1 and 996.2 section, or even 996 GT3 and 997 GT3 sections. and the only real differences between the 997.1 and 997.2 is the DFI engine, PDK and Touch Screen PCM. This forum can be slow enough at times, watering it down will only make it tougher to get activity on a regular basis.

Interesting. Definitely don't want it slower. Appreciating NorthVan's comment, there is a big difference with the 997.2 - none of the exhaust, intake or other engine mods cross over. Those are the most common mods and there is no cross over. Yet, everything else is the same including interior mods, aero, etc. Probably more benefit to keep them together.
