GMG will field 2 entries this weekend for the Speed GT race on Sunday.

We will be running our 997 WC -GT3 Cup and 996 WC GT3 Cup.


If any 6 speeders are attending the race weekend we invite you to come by the paddock and say Hi!

Chris we had a great race................ Until...

We qualified 5th. Ran 4th all race long a ton of camera time. James was ahead of lawson in the Caddy.. Great 4 car battle for the majority of the race. Started to have gearbox issues wouldnt up shift... Was holding off Lawson 5 laps to go McCann and Altenburg get by Lawson. 4 laps to go McCann gets by James on the front straight.
3 Laps to go Altenburg punts James going into turn one - Just a blatant dirty move on his part.. James gets stuck in the gravel trap.

Lawson and James raced each other for 75% of the race and they got close but they never touched. Lawson could have easoly punted him but didnt., They raced close but no contact .. And then comes Altenburg in his viper with this Yahoo move into one. He didnt get up along side of him he just hit him from behind.. Basically used him for brakes.

Oh well I guess its becoming really evident who the pro drivers are in World Challenge and who the amatuers are..

The irony of this whole thing is that Altenburg won the touring car title in the mazda after Randy his teammate got taken out by Klienubing in the Acura in the same corner.

Needless to say we had a great car and a great race until the incident.


Frustrated .. ARGHH!

that's frustrating....racing is supposed to be about the skills of the driver and the guys who prep the cars....one of these days I'll make it out to watch....any GMG track days coming up?
