I'm looking at a 996 in Newport this weekend. Can someone please recommend a good shop to do a PPI? Preferably an independent shop.

While I don't have any direct experience with this outfit, GMG in Costa Mesa or Santa Ana also gets a lot of good reviews here. They are also a board sponsor (look right ---->).

GMG is probably a little closer than Hergesheimer (depending what side of newport the car is at)
I can't speak for GMG, but Hergesheimer is definitely a top notch shop. They know their stuff.

Thanks guys. I decided to send the car to Hergesheimer. Worked with Laura and she was great. They seriously went over the car with a fine tooth comb.

 

Mark installed my Flash and performed an oil change for me. Great shop.
