Sounds like it was an awesome time! Wish I got up in time, maybe I'll have to take that drive myself this coming weekend....My battery is just about dead!!!

I was out there this Sun. but at the other end (I think). Up 5 fwy, Castaic exit, go by Lake hughes. Nice Cyn run and then long straights, hitting 150++. Couple of 996 tts, a 997s, a 996, a ferrari Barrachetta, a corvette and my bro in his 600hp Subaru. The Subaru was kicking *** until he broke a Rim. Had a great time but it was hot. 105 I think. We meet at 7:00 usually. Anyhow, good to see a bunch of us using these cars for what they were built for.

 

Wow, you guys meet near me, I'm in Northridge, not far at all from you. I might just have to tag along one of these days.

Just to let you guys know, my cousin and I are heading out there this Sunday, 7/26. We should get there by 10 or 11, hope we see others out there. If anyone wants to meet up before, PM or reply... I have 3 alarm clocks for this Sunday...

We can meet at the same loation mentioned in this thread, let's say about 10 AM, like last time. There's gonna be 3 997's going out this time, a '08 C4S Cab, '09 C4S Cab, and my '09 C4S coupe. It should be a good time.

I didn't go to the spot at 10am but I did head up there with my pops, we had breakfast at Newcomb's and came back. We took some pictures, there was this sick '59 356 there and I saw that 914 again and chatted with him a bit, he seems to be a cool cat.

How was your ride up?

 

We didn't meet up with anyone, I didn't get ant replies, so went ourselves. It was the 3 of us and we had a blast, saw a couple P-Cars,and even a blue T-Rex coming down. Only 1 cop near the top, but the bikers gave us a heads up. We should really get a bigger group together... Anyhow, I took a couple pictures, check 'em out!! Let's get this group soon, maybe this weekend!!!! We're in for sure!!!

 

I saw that t-Rex too, very cool, it had HRE wheels and a killer exhaust!

I saw conv. 997 with the red backed seats on the road, I didn't know he was a part of your group I would have piggy backed if I knew.

I'm going to take it easy for the next couple of weeks but mid Aug. I want to organize something big, something with at least 10-15 cars, I think we can do it now that you have an alarm
