1st PCA SDR Tour of 2010, April 25th "Back Roads"
To all of you PCA members the first official Tour for 2010 in the San Diego Region is coming up on Sunday April 25th. It should be a fun drive and will hopefully show many of us some new and exciting roads.
We will leave Escondido at 8:30 sharp, stretch our Porsche's legs, get some lunch and be back in town with enough time to run some Sunday errands
Flyers will be available shortly and more information will be in next month's Windblown Witness as well as posted at www.PCASDR.org
If you have any questions, post here or E-mail me at peter.dorey@cleaire.com
Thanks and I hope to see some of you there!
- Peter D.

Wyatt,
Your welcome to come along with us as a guest! If you like the event and the club then you should think about joining. I joined for the autocrosses and the tours, but there are a lot of other events such as concourses, driving schools, dinner events and member discounts at most Porsche shops.
I hope to see you there,
- Peter

krpt176,
Holy Cow, you are going to add more mods! You will need to get a pilots license if your car goes much faster!
This tour will be a lot of fun and we will take some roads that hopefully not everyone has already been on.
Hope to see you soon,
- Peter

Meeting place is in front of the Macaroni Grill at the North County Mall in Escondido. Here is a link to the flyer: http://pcasdr.org/img/2010/calendar/...0tour%20ad.pdf

Stretch Your Legs means we will go as fast as it is SAFE to go!
Because of the diversity in the group, we will not be going "all out" by any means. But we will be moving along at a brisk pace which will not bore you! I have been on some slow runs with VW's that were horrible, and I went on one run with a few Ferrari's and Porsche Turbos which was downright scary. This will be in-between. If you have a brand new GT2 and want to find out if it can really hit 180mph then this is not the event.
Oh, bring a couple bucks for brunch if you want to eat. It will be a buffet style brunch for $15 per person, just for us.
Hope to see some of you this weekend!!!

Many thanks to Keith and the rest of the PCA-SD region for organizing a great backroads driving event. Over 60 Porsche's took part in this spirited drive up Mt. Palomar.
